What is the MACPA PAC?
The MACPA Political Action Committee (PAC) is a voluntary, nonprofit, bipartisan committee of certified public accountants and others interested in promoting government that supports the interests of Michigan CPAs.
The MACPA PAC:
- Encourages CPAs to participate in governmental affairs
- Promotes understanding of the nature and actions of government, the important political issues of the day, and the voting records of office holders and candidates on issues important to CPAs
- Provides CPAs and others with effective political education
- Provides financial and other support to candidates for state office
Why Should I Contribute to the MACPA PAC?
- Decisions made in the political process affect you and that is why it is important that all Michigan CPAs contribute to the PAC.
- The MACPA PAC helps to elect candidates who are friendly to the CPA profession. If the MACPA does not support those candidates, someone else might support candidates who may not protect your interests -- the interests of CPAs.
- Recipients of MACPA PAC support understand that they are supported by more than 16,000 Michigan CPAs who have an interest in issues of importance to their profession.

Does the MACPA Acknowledge PAC Contributors?
Yes! The MACPA acknowledges MACPA PAC contributors with a special logo on event nametags. In addition, MACPA PAC contributors are published on this web site.
MACPA Capitol Club
- MACPA PAC contributions of $100 or more entitles you to a one-year membership in the MACPA PAC Capitol Club.
- This elite donor program recognizes leaders of the CPA profession who understand the value of promoting the profession’s interests in Lansing.
- Join the Capitol Club and the MACPA will send you a MACPA Capitol Club lapel pin to wear, which signifies your level of commitment and dedication to the profession.
Rather Than One Annual Contribution, Can I Make A Series of Contributions to the MACPA PAC?
- Yes! If you choose to make a series of donations to the MACPA PAC, you can complete our online enrollment form.
- Similar to a gym membership, or perhaps your automobile insurance, you can schedule your monthly or quarterly contributions based on your schedule. It’s hassle free.
