Financial Literacy
The MACPA is part of a nationwide effort to help consumers become wise money managers. Educating individuals in personal finance and helping small business owners is vital to Michigan’s and the nation’s future. These tools will help you with financial decisions – whether you’re starting college, launching a business or considering retirement – or somewhere in between.
Financial Inventory
The MACPA has developed a comprehensive financial inventory to support individuals and families in their effort to summarize financially related information. This inventory is not only useful in late-life or end-of-life planning, but also for couples or individuals who want to take a collective look at their financial assets and liabilities no matter what their stage in the life cycle. This inventory can be filled out at any stage of life, and is available in word and excel form. Download your copy using the links below:
Financial Affairs at the End of Life
The MACPA's Financial Literacy Task Force, through a partnership with Hospice of Michigan (HOM), completed work on the 2nd edition booklet titled Financial Affairs at the End of Life. The financial impact on end-of-life planning for families can be devastating. While patient hospice care is covered by insurance programs, HOM previously did not have a program for providing families with financial counsel. The booklet includes checklists and directives for families to utilize in end-of-life planning for loved ones. Download Your Copy Today!
