MACPA Speakers Bureau
The MACPA Speakers Bureau is here to provide your classroom or non-profit organization with an expert resource to speak on financial topics.
What is Speakers Bureau?
The MACPA is often asked by schools and community groups to speak to them about various accounting topics. The MACPA Speakers Bureau is a consortium of MACPA members prepared to give presentations to these requesting groups. You can request to have a knowledgeable MACPA member come to your class or organization and give a fun and informative presentation. Our members are prepared to speak to the following topics:
- General information on what the CPA profession is and career paths students can embark upon as a CPA
- Business topics including self-employment, employee benefit plans, retirement plans, 401 (K) Plans, Sarbanes-Oxley and more
- Financial Literacy topics regarding college, home ownership, marriage, retirement and more
Length of Presentations
You have the option of choosing a 15-, 30- or 45-minute presentation depending on the amount of time you have available for our members to speak.
