TROY, MI—September 17, 2007—The accounting profession enjoyed a night of celebration as professionals from across the state honored those who have made an impact both in their industry and in the community.  The Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and Peggy A. Dzierzawski, president and CEO, announced award recipients during the MACPA’s annual Awards Dinner on September 10, 2007.

“So many of the members make an impact through their legislative input, accounting standard practice, and community involvement that we are happy to recognize just a few that work so tirelessly on a daily basis,” said Peggy A. Dzierzawski. “At the Michigan Association of CPA’s, we truly believe in achieving professional greatness and these award recipients demonstrate just that.”
