The MACPA uses SmarterMail v4.x to provide a complimentary @michigancpas.org E-mail address to its members. The MACPA provides help on creating and accessing your account. If you need specific help once logged into SmarterMail please use the following resources:

Accessing Your E-mail
You can access your @michigancpas.org E-mail address after logging in to the MACPA web site:
- Click on the My E-mail icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Select My E-mail Account from the My Membership tab.
Creating an E-mail Address
MACPA members can create their complimentary @michigancpas.org E-mail address during the web site account creation process. If you already have a web site account and you did not select the complimentary E-mail option you may create one on the My E-mail Account page.
- Click the CREATE E-mail ACCOUNT button.
- Decide whether you want to use your existing username as the first part of your E-mail address or create a new one by entering it and then click SUBMIT. (Example: USERNAME@michigancpas.org)
- If you choose to use your existing username, your E-mail address will be automatically created and linked to your web site account. If you choose to create a new username you will be prompted to enter it. Your address will be automatically created and linked to your web site account with the updated web site username.
My E-mail Account
The My E-mail Account page contains links to 3rd party resources to help you learn and use your @michigancpas.org account to its fullest. You can also create an E-mail address after you have created a web site account. (See Creating an E-mail Address.)
Not Receiving E-mail
If you are not receiving any E-mail from the MACPA or this web site you may have one of the following problems:
- MACPA E-mail is not passing through the junk/spam filters you or your IT Department MANUALLY set.
- Your E-mail service (AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc...) is AUTOMATICALLY blocking our messages thinking it's junk/spam.
To allow MACPA E-mails, change your settings to allow messages from the *.michcpa.org and *.enews.michcpa.org domains. See your IT Department or the help documentation provided by your mail client to make these changes.
Login to E-mail
By logging in to the MACPA web site you will be automatically logged in to your @michigancpas.org E-mail account. To access your E-mail, click the My E-mail icon in the upper right corner of the site and it will open in a new window.
