- Terry Murphy, CPA, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants to Give Away 10,000 Books to Students in a Day-Long Drop
- An assembly at Samuel Gompers Elementary School will kick off a day-long book distribution event by Terry Murphy, CPA, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Students at Gompers will be the first recipients of books on Thursday, January 18, 2007. In addition to Gomper’s Elementary, nine thousand books will be delivered to nine other schools including McKenny, Holcomb, Grant and Webster Elementary schools in Detroit.
