Educator E-News

Educator E-News is a bi-annual electronic news publication that is distributed to educators at the beginning and end of each school year. The publication informs educators of events occurring at the MACPA which they can attend, opportunities for themselves or their students, the Association's public service initiatives, the latest changes and updates on the profession and more.

Speakers Bureau

Want a real-world accounting professional to speak to your students about what it takes to make it in the accounting profession? Have a Speakers Bureau member visit your class. Fill out the Request Form to have your Speakers Bureau request fulfilled.

American Accounting Association

Access various tools and resources from the American Accounting Association, such as case studies, resources specific to teaching accounting and business, information on technology in the classroom and more.

The Uniform CPA Exam

If your students are on the path to becoming a CPA, they'll soon be taking the Uniform CPA Exam. Keep them informed about the format of the exam, how to prepare for the exam and let them know about any changes to the exam. You can stay up-to-date by visiting the Uniform CPA Exam web site.

College Student Survey

The MACPA's College Student Survey was administered in fall 2003 to Michigan college students to find out how prepared they felt for college-level accounting coursework.

New Curriculum Rule for College Students Effective March 1, 2008

On March 1, 2008, a new curriculum rule went into effect which will impact college students.  The following is a quick explanation of the current rule, the change, the background and the implications.
