The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and MACPA have joined together in their efforts to educate to audiences - high school students just starting to make career decisions as well as professionals already working as CPAs.
Through their presence at the High School Leaders Conferences, the IRS reaches out to students to teach them an enticing career one can have with the IRS as a CPA. Through their presentation at the Conference, Show Me the Money, an IRS special agent shows students how CPAs can work for the IRS to track down the misuse of monies by big business and individuals. Students thus become familiar with one of the many and exciting opportunities available to them as a CPA.
The IRS has also worked with the MACPA CPE department to develop cutting edge education for CPA professionals looking to reach their State Board CPE requirements. Notable courses included ???.
