The AICPA, in partnership with the California Society of CPAs, has produced a CPA Mobilization Toolkit that features all the tools a CPA needs to engage in community discussions. Each kit focuses on a particular life event and includes a PowerPoint presentation with notes and fact sheets of pertinent issues. You may choose the toolkit that best fits your needs from the catagories below.

General Financial Literacy
- This resource features Startling Facts on Financial Literacy, background on the issue, key messages, including Talking Points; a speech script, a PowerPoint presentation, FAQs and information on Community Outreach.

Careers
- This section includes resources on achieving financial goals, creating an investment portfolio, investment planning, keys to successful investing, understanding investment terms and concepts and protecting yourself and and a special secion on protecting your family with insurance.

Childhood
- Be Smart About Saving: To provide basics of financial literacy to 4th grade students and their teachers, the AICPA teamed with Weekly Reader to create a free educational program entitled Budget Buzz: Be Smart About Saving. The program materials include a poster and two hands-on activities designed to help students understand financial concepts in a fun, interactive way. Copies of the materials for use in the classroom or at home are available in this section.

- Resources include: Making College a Reality, Bridging the College Savings Gap with Financial Aid, Education Tax Credits and Tuition Deduction and a PowerPoint Presentation.

Couples and Marriage
- The Couples Quiz: What's your financial compatibility is a great way to launch your presentation. Merging your money when you marry gives step by step considerations for couples. Additional resources include articles, tools and FAQs that address divorce, insurance, loss of a spouse and remarriage.

- This section addresses buying vs. renting, the tax benefits of home ownership and financing and home equity, including applying for a mortgage, refinancing your mortgage, tapping the equity in your home and your home as a source of dollars in retirement.

Life Crisis
- Ths section features disaster preparedness resources, including: Financial Planning: A Guide for Disaster Preparedness; a Disaster Preparedness Toolkit; Disaster Recovery: A Guide to Financial Issues; and a Disaster Recovery Toolkit. Other resources cover the fundamentals of disability insurance, understanding long-term care insurance and receiving unemployment benefits.
