New Professional Task Force Events

What is the New Professionals Task Force?

Young CPAs, CPA candidates and students can participate in the New Professionals Task Force and grow their careers through:

  • Opportunities to develop relationships with CPA colleagues who can act as professional resources for business solutions.
  • Opportunities to develop relationships with potential clients and non-CPA business contacts such as bankers, insurance agents, and lawyers.
  • Opportunities for members to become more active within the MACPA.

Joining the Task Force

Are you newly certified, pursing certification or studying to be a CPA? Join the New Professionals Task Force to jump start your leadership skills. As one of more than 40 task forces, the New Professionals Task Force provides direction for the Association. But not only that, this task force plans important social and charitable events. Join the task force today and play an important role in the Association while benefiting your career.

Social Events

The Task Force recognizes the importance establishing a solid network early in a career. And the best way to build a network is through social activities with professional peers. With this in mind, the Task Force sponsors multiple social events yearly. From wine tastings to professional baseball games, the Task Force finds fun and interesting events for young CPAs and students.

Charitable Events

CPAs give of their time and talent to make their communities strong. The New Professionals Task Force encourages this through many charitable activities. Join your colleagues in contributing to the community through special projects such as a book drive to benefit school children in Detroit and toy collections for the Toys-for-Tots program.
